Lucas Hägg Johansson 5.7m
Lucas Hägg Johansson is the third highest scoring goalkeeper this season and he has usually gathered his points through saves and defensive bonus, even if the occasional clean sheet appears in the charts as well. 5 points for saves and 7 defensive bonus points in his 4 last games, Hägg Johansson now faces Degerfors at home.
Erick Otieno 6.6m
Up over a million from his starting price, Erick Otieno continues to provide a steady stream of points. While the underlying statistics for offensive bonus have dried up recently, an upturn in propensity for defensive bonus can be seen instead. Averaging 5 points per game since the restart in Gameweek 9, Otieno remains a solid option week in week out, away to Mjällby not being an exception.
Mohanad Jeahze 6.2m
The signs have been there all season of Mohanad Jeahze’s importance to Hammarby’s attack, but recently the trend has been an increased output in good chances served up by the marauding left back. This is seen in the offensive bonus too, where he has registered 11 points in his 8 last games and several times put up underlying numbers that would have granted him even more offensive bonus points, had it not been capped at 2 per game.
Sotirios Papagiannopoulos 6.7m
Sotirios Papagiannopoulos has provided managers with a solid baseline for points thanks to his solid gathering of defensive bonus, managing 21 defensive bonus points so far. With a goal and an assist in his 2 last games, it is becoming increasingly clear that AIK intends to use their centre backs forcefully on set pieces (in particular corners) and it has paid great dividends so far. Mjällby are also surprisingly low scoring at home, only managing to score 3 goals in 7 home games.
Nahir Besara 8.8m
Averaging 2.7 shots per game since arriving at Örebro, Nahir Besara is an interesting prospect at home to an admittedly defensively solid Varberg outfit. Örebro needs to start producing some wins if they are to stay up this year and home games like this look key to that for Besara and the team.
Sebastian Larsson 10.1m
Sebastian Larsson is displaying an incredible level of consistency in terms of assists, bonus points, and yellow cards. 16 offensive and 9 defensive bonus points from 14 appearances is staggering and creates a nice floor to be relied upon every week.
Veljko Birmancevic 8.6m
Veljko Birmancevic is having a great debut season for Malmö, scoring important goals in the league but even more so in Europe. A creator as well as a finisher, Birmancevic has taken 24 shots in his 5 last games and is imposing himself more and more as a top player at this level. Norrköping have only managed to keep 4 clean sheets this season and it’s highly unlikely they keep one this Gameweek.
Jonathan Levi 8.5m
While the clean sheet prospects look iffy for Norrköping, their attack is looking increasingly potent now that Christoffer Nyman is back and Jonathan Levi is deployed further forward, as well as seemingly, in favour once more. With Isak Bergmann Johannesson having departed, it looks likely that Levi gets a fair share of the set pieces as well. A goal, an assist and 3 offensive bonus points in his 2 last games is encouraging ahead of their nice little run after this week too.
Christian Kouakou 6.0m
Christian Kouakou has had some ups and downs this season and continues to be prone to the odd offside goal, yet he is ticking along nicely and at home to Östersund there should be plenty of opportunities to sneak in another goal or two.
Nils Fröling 5.8m
Another cheap striker is Nils Fröling who is posting some interesting stats, firing off 12 shots in his 2 last games. 3 goals in his last 4 is always nice to see and at home to an obliging Degerfors defence, Fröling looks like a good pick this Gameweek.
Antonio Colak 10.3m
Antonio Colak is decisively pricier but as the spearhead of a potent Malmö attack, that is to be expected. 26 shots in his 5 last games indicates he is not hesitant to pull the trigger, and Norrköping’s Oscar Jansson will do well to keep him out of the scoreboard this Gameweek.
Every week in the Scout Picks, a captain is selected from the 11 chosen players. The Captain Pick is meant to give some guidance into who has the biggest potential for points this Gameweek and who looks relatively safe, according to the Scout.
This Gameweek the Captain Pick is Veljko Birmancevic. With Anders Christiansen and Jo Inge Berget suspended for the game, Birmancevic will be even more important for Malmö, and he will be given the opportunity to shine at home to Norrköping.
